KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Three suspects are in custody after breaking into multiple cars in Kalamazoo Township.
Police officers from Western Michigan University and the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety were called to the 200 block of South Kendall Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Thursday after reports of break ins.
All 3 suspects, a 33-year-old man, a 20-year-old man, and a 17-year-old girl all from Kalamazoo were arrested for stealing items from unlocked cars and for also being involved in a theft where the vehicle had the key left in the ignition.
Officers are reminding drivers to always lock their vehicles and never leave valuables inside.
