EMMETT TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Road officials have shut down a section of D. Drive North between Beadle Lake Road and Harper Creek Drive in Emmett Township because it appears that a part of the roadway is collapsing over a bridge, which has made the road unstable.
Barricades have been put up directing traffic to 6-1/2 Mile Road as a detour route until further notice.
The Calhoun County Road Department will evaluate the situation and determine a course of action to make repairs, but it may not be possible to fix it quickly.
