PAW PAW (WKZO AM/FM) — Van Buren County authorities say a toddler who was missing for over 3 hours has been found with the family dog by his side.
2-year-old Princeton Drake wandered away from his home in Paw Paw around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A K9 unit was called to the area of M-43 and 40th Street to track down the young boy.
He was later discovered about a half-mile away from the home with the family’s 1-year-old pitbull next to him.
Authorities say Drake was covered in mosquito bites but safe with no signs of neglect or abuse.
There will most likely be no charges filed against the parents for the incident.
