ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Nearly 30 football recruits have signed with the University of Michigan or Michigan State University to play in 2021.
U of M added 20 players, including five-star quarterback J.J. McCarthy, four-star running back Donovan Edwards and four-star wide receiver Xavier Worthy.
MSU signed 16 players yesterday including four-star linebacker Ma’a Gaeoteote.
Michigan State football fifth-year senior defensive tackle Naquan Jones will enter the 2021 NFL draft. Jones has 24 tackles, including five for a loss, a pass break up and a fumble recovery in seven games this season.
He decided to forgo his final season of eligibility after the NCAA granted an extra year to all fall athletes in 2020.
