KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — It was the wrong place and the wrong time for a 23-year-old suspected drug dealer who was plying his trade at about 7:30 Thursday evening in the parking lot at Fox Ridge Apartments.
Public Safety Officers were already there conducting a surveillance operation, watching for him because he was wanted on multiple warrants, when the young man walked up to a customer in a car.
The officers moved in and made contact with him, seizing delivery amounts of marijuana and a loaded firearm that was not registered to the young man.
He was booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail on all those existing warrants and brand new drug counts and gun felonies.
