OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Deputies with the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a 36-year-old man who is accused of possibly sexually assaulting a 38-year-old woman and stealing her vehicle on Saturday.
She called them from the Extended Stay America Hotel on South 11th Street in Oshtemo Township, saying she and the man had left a local establishment Friday night and went to the hotel.
Deputies say she had visible injuries of a physical assault and they are also looking into whether or not he sexually assaulted her as well.
Her vehicle was found near the last known residence of the man, but he has not been found.
The two knew each other, and deputies say there is no known threat to the public.
She is hospitalized in stable condition.
