CONSTANTINE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State Police are investigating a deadly crash that happened Thursday evening around 8 p.m. in Constantine Township.
Troopers say an SUV driven by an 86-year-old Constantine man tried to turn left onto US 131 from Youngs Prairie Road, didn’t yield, and was hit by a southbound RV.
The Constantine man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the RV, a 48-year-old man from Caledonia, was wearing his seatbelt and suffered minor injuries.
Troopers say drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be factors in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing, and no names have been released.
