LAWRENCE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Van Buren County authorities are continuing their search for a Parchment man who went missing in the Village of Lawrence in early October.
Sheriff Daniel E. Abbott says 45-year-old Jimmy Green was visiting friends in Lawrence on Blackman Street October 7, 2020. The friends report he had been helping pick up sticks in the yard and walked away without saying a word. Neighbors last saw Green walking west bound from Blackman Street on St. Joseph Street in Lawrence at around 4:30 p.m.
At around 5:00 p.m. that day Green asked to borrow a phone and called his family from a home at the corner of East James Street and Elizabeth Street in Lawrence.
Green is described by his family as a very mild-mannered father with a mild form of Bell’s-Palsy, giving him a slight speech impediment.
Green was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, khaki pants, and a military style boonie hat. He is 5’5” tall and weighs about 205 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair. His picture is not current only in that he had a full goatee and mustache.
