HAMILTON and HOLLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A gas station robber is still on the run without his vehicle or the shoes he was wearing during the crime.
Allegan County Sheriff deputies say they have recovered the silver Mazda 6 with the maroon hood and the Converse Chuck Taylor tennis shoes that were worn during two robberies about 20 minutes apart.
The first occurred around 6:45 a.m. Monday at the Holland Mobile gas station on Lincoln Avenue and the second was at the Hamilton Mobile on M-40.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned individual, about 5’7,” 140 pounds, and was wearing a face mask, dark jacket, blue jeans, and the Converse shoes during the incident.
