KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Public Safety Officers were dispatched to Bronson Emergency early Sunday morning after a 37-year-old man appeared for treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg.
An interview with the victim revealed that the Shooting had occurred sometime just before 2:00 am in the 500 block of Florence Street on Kalamazoo’s northside.
He also told officers that he knew who had pulled the trigger.
Officers were dispatched to the crime scene to canvass the area for witnesses and to search for evidence related to the shooting.
The victim is expected to survive the wound.
Its not clear if the victim told detectives who shot him, but no description of the gunman was offered in the News Release.
