KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A man who was robbed, shot and beaten is recovering in Kalamazoo.
Kalamazoo Public Safety says the 32-year-old was accosted by three unknown male suspects with pistols in the 1,000 block of Interfaith Boulevard around midnight on Monday.
The group was demanding cash.
The victim fought back and was later shot in the leg and pistol whipped in the forehead by the group of men.
The three suspects ran when he began calling for the complex security officers at Interfaith Homes.
Public Safety set up a perimeter and put a K-9 on their trail, but the suspects could not be located.
No arrests have been made and no suspect descriptions have been given at this time.
