SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The South Haven city council has approved a $45,000 contract with Double Haul Solutions to develop a lifeguard program for the city’s beaches.
Council members were told the focus of the work is not if the city will implement a program but to access how it can be effectively and sustainably implemented.
City Manager Kate Hosier expects the plan to be ready for the council’s review by October.
South Haven will also have 11 life ring cabinets placed at five beaches and around the Harborwalk.
