PORTAGE (WKZO AM/FM) — Although many do not want to think about snow at this time, Portage officials are naming the winners of this year’s paint the plow art competition.
Portage students from eight schools all completed entries and the public selected winners from Lake Center Elementary, Central Middle School and Northern High School.
The plows are on display near Library Lane in Portage.
This winter, they will be attached to the front of a truck and artfully used to remove snow from city streets.
Students were encouraged to pick a weather theme and try to work in the mascot from their school.
