KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan News Agency has been dispensing the news for decades from its downtown location. Saturday at 8 am, it became the news when the business was robbed by a man who came around the cashier’s counter and physically threatened the employee, demanding money.
The robber grabbed some cash and fled east on foot from the news stand and book store.
A K-9 track was attempted but the dog lost the scent.
Sgt. Brandon Noble says the robber is a black male in his 40’s with short hair. The man was about 5’7” with a slender build. He was wearing a blue shirt and baggie jeans.
