KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two Kalamazoo men are in custody after a drug and gun bust at an apartment complex in the West Douglas neighborhood.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers were called to the Fox Ridge Apartments on Fox Ridge Drive just before 2 a.m. Thursday after receiving reports of shots fired.
During the investigation they found a suspected vehicle within the complex that was believed to have drugs inside of it.
They identified and searched the vehicle and found a loaded handgun, marijuana, and suspected methamphetamine on one of the occupants.
A 21-year-old was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of meth, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
A 20-year-old was also arrested on warrants and for the possession with the intent to deliver marijuana.
