BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — Investigators are searching for a gunman after a double shooting in Battle Creek.
Police were called to the area of Spring Street and East Grand Circle around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday after they received several calls of shots fired.
They were later notified that two victims arrived at a nearby hospital hours after each other, both with gunshot wounds to their legs.
Several shell casings were discovered in the 1st block of East Grand Circle and a homeowner was arrested on charges unrelated to the shooting.
The victims are not cooperating with authorities and an investigation is still underway.
