KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Crews are investigating what sparked a house fire on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
Public Safety officers were called to the scene in the 800 block of Simpson Street just after 5 p.m. Thursday and discovered smoke coming from a bedroom window.
Firefighters located a fire in the basement and quickly extinguished the blaze.
