BARRY COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — Barry County Sheriff deputies say a teen that was missing for almost a month has been found.
16-year-old Michelle Winchell was dropped off in Kalamazoo to visit a friend on September 9th and contacted her family on the 10th, but then she lost touch.
Family members believed she could’ve still been in the Kalamazoo area because she has friends near Western Michigan University’s campus.
Authorities say Winchell was located and reunited with her family as of Tuesday.
No details were released on where she was found or what her condition was.
