KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A garage over 100-years-old is destroyed after a fire near Kalamazoo’s Vine Neighborhood.
Public Safety officers were called to the 1800 block of Oakland Drive around 10 a.m. Sunday where after reports of smoke and flames coming from a garage.
Crews responded from their station just down the street and worked to quickly put out the blaze.
The garage and its contents suffered heavy damage, a second garage had exterior damage, but the homes and buildings nearby were saved.
The cause is still unknown.
