TEXAS TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Calling all incoming college hopefuls: there is a chance to view over 80 different colleges all in one place.
Kalamazoo Valley Community College is hosting their free annual College Night at their Texas Township Campus on West O Avenue from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 8th.
Colleges from around Michigan will be there including U of M, MSU, WMU, CMU, GVSU, as well as local private colleges and colleges out of state.
Director of Enrollment Management at KVCC E.J. Bast says this is a perfect time for students and parents to get to know each institution, and learn about the financial aid process, application process, and much more.
A financial aid presentation will take place at 7:00 p.m. to help explain the FAFSA.
Signs will be also posted around their Texas Township campus to help direct attendees to the event.
High school Juniors and Seniors, their parents, and even students looking to transfer colleges are invited to the free event.
