PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two suspects are in custody after a Pennfield Township home invasion was busted thanks to an observant neighbor.
Calhoun County Sheriff deputies were called to a home on Sharon Avenue just after 8:40 p.m. Wednesday after a neighbor noticed a light on at the home even though it was under renovations.
That’s when authorities found a man and a woman inside the residence.
The 24-year-old Pennfield Township man and the 29-year-old woman from Battle Creek were both arrested on burglary charges.
The man could also face additional firearm charges after several guns were found in the house.
