KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The search is on for a suspect that stabbed a Kalamazoo woman in the West Douglas neighborhood.
Public Safety officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Douglas Avenue around 10:40 a.m. Sunday after a report of an assault with a knife.
That’s where they found the 38-year-old victim with multiple stab wounds.
She was rushed to the hospital and listed in fair condition.
The suspect fled westbound on foot and a K-9 track was launched but not successful.
There was no reported description of the attacker or a motive for the stabbing.
