BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A merry not scary Halloween event is kicking off at the Binder Park Zoo.
The family-friendly 31st annual ZooBoo runs for 8 days, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. October 18-21 and 25-28.
The ticket price includes unlimited carousel and hay rides, lawn games, pumpkin carving stations, entertainment and more.
And don’t forget about the most important part. Animals that can take on the cooler temperatures will be on exhibit in the East Zoo and their new baby red panda Oolong will be over in the vet hospital.
Attendees are encouraged to come in costume and bring a trick-or-treat container.
