KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo City Commission will hold its annual planning retreat this Saturday, March 8, with officials saying it will serve as a key step in shaping the City’s priorities and laying the groundwork for the 2026 budget.
Commissioners are scheduled to discuss major initiatives, set goals for the upcoming year, and review community needs. A highlight of the session will be the presentation of results from the National Community Survey, which provides valuable insights into residents’ priorities and experiences in Kalamazoo.
They say the meeting at the Foundry, 600 East Michigan Avenue, will provide an important opportunity for city leaders to align on strategic priorities that will guide budget decisions and future projects.
Community members are welcome to attend. The retreat begins at 8:30 a.m.
