UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) — It’s time to get out and vote.
-POLL HOURS-
Polling locations are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m., but be patient and expect longer lines at some places.
Voters in line before 8 p.m. will still be allowed to vote.

Voters can get a copy of their ballot at vote411.org or at Michigan.gov/vote and know exactly what they are doing before they walk in.
-RECORD TURNOUT-
There is every indication that there will be a record turnout today for a Midterm election, but that isn’t saying a lot.
Historically turnout for these elections has traditionally been on the low side, but Kalamazoo County Clerk Tim Snow says based on the turnout at the primary and the number of absentee ballots requested they are gearing up like it’s a presidential election.
He says unlike the primary, they will not be running out of ballots this time.
-“POLLING PLACE ETIQUETTE”-
Election officials are reminding voters about their “polling place etiquette” before they head out.
Voters should not wear any campaign shirts or hats endorsing candidates and all other campaign materials should be left in the car.
But Secretary of State Ruth Johnson says people are allowed to take in a list of candidates they plan to vote for since straight-ticket voting is not an option this year.
Bring a driver’s license or a state I.D., to speed up processing, but even residents that don’t have an ID can still vote.
And finally no selfies are allowed in the polling place.
