KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Safety has arrested a 24-year-old man for armed robbery in a Facebook Marketplace transaction in early February.
Officers arrested Ignacio Pederson of Kalamazoo last Thursday, and caught him after he tried to flee during the arrest.
Pederson was arraigned Friday on charges of armed robbery and resisting and obstructing officers.
Bond was set at $25,000 for the robbery and $500 for resisting and obstructing.
KDPS says Pederson had agreed to purchase a cell phone and two phone cases in the 1000 block of Interfaith Boulevard and robbed the seller of the items when they met, saying he had a gun.
