OMAHA, NE (WKZO AM/FM) – The Western Michigan University hockey team opened the 2020-21 season with a 4-3 loss to St. Cloud State in the National Collegiate Hockey Pod in Omaha Tuesday night.
The game was deadlocked at 3-3 until a shot on the Bronco goal popped up in the air and was accidentally knocked in by a Western defender with 27 seconds to play in the game.
Western is back in action Thursday night against Omaha.
