KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two men are injured, one critically, and the suspects are at large after a shooting in Kalamazoo Township.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday outside a home in the 1500 block of Waverly Drive.
Witnesses say two black teens fled the scene in a maroon minivan, but a silver minivan may have also been involved.
Police later surrounded a home in the 700 block of Wallace Avenue after reports that the gunmen were in the home, but nobody was found or arrested.
Investigators say this was not a random shooting but so far there are no further details on the incident.
The victims, age 18 and 19, were rushed to a hospital with injuries but their names or current conditions have not been released.
