Battle Creek asking for snow plow name votes

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The city of Battle Creek is asking the community to vote on their favorite names for snow plows.

They asked people to submit their best plow name ideas in December and received 140 submissions that have been narrowed down to 91 ideas.

Among the names up for votes are “Blizzard of Oz,” “Sir Plows-A-Lot,” “Luke Snowalker,” “Snow-Begone Kenobi,” and “Austin Plowers.”

Voting is open through February 21 at this link, and the winners will be announced in March.
