COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation is underway after a fire in a vacant home near Comstock Township.
Firefighters were called to G Avenue near Sprinkle Road around 7 a.m. Tuesday and found flames shooting out of the front door.
Crews worked quickly to extinguish the blaze which spread through the two levels of the home.
The Comstock Fire Chief says the home was vacant and nobody was injured but there was extensive damage.
G Avenue was closed throughout the morning and officials are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
