The Ascension Borgess Foundation has flicked on the lights for the “Tree of Love” for this holiday season.
The unique fundraiser provides money for breast cancer screening and treatment for uninsured and underinsured women who meet income eligibility.
Ann Witherspoon with the hospital foundation says they catch the problems early and they save lives.
Each light and each donation represents someone who has battled breast cancer.
They announced this week that they were within $1000 of their $70,000 goal.
