KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are searching for a gunman after a man was shot on the city’s Northside, a day after another shooting occured just a couple blocks away.
First responders were sent to Bronson Hospital just after 7:00 p.m. Thursday where a 30-year-old victim was in stable condition and said he was shot in an unknown location.
The investigation took them to the 400 block of Drexel Place which is less than a half a mile away from Ada Street where a Kalamazoo teen received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound Wednesday night.
So far no arrests have been made in either shooting and it’s unclear if the two shootings are linked.
Anyone with information should contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 337-8994 or Silent Observer at 343-2100.
