KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Township Police have apparently found the man they say is responsible for a fatal hit and run accident along Gull Road on December 7th. Rather he found them.
The 69-year-old Richland resident called them up and admitted he might be the person they were looking for.
A forensic examination of his black GM pick-up confirmed that it was the vehicle involved in the crash. 40-year-old Noah Mickaels of Kalamazoo was killed when he was struck.
No charges have been filed so far, that may be left up to the Prosecutor’s office.
The name of the suspect has not been released.
