CHARLOTTE, MI — Markdom Michigan Plastics, Inc., a subsidiary of Markdom International based in Toronto, Canada, is set to launch its first U.S. operations in Charlotte, with a significant investment exceeding $19 million. The expansion will take place at a facility located at 400 Parkland Drive and is expected to create 170 new jobs in the region. The move includes significant investment in an existing building.
The company’s expansion into the U.S. market is being facilitated through the Lansing Economic Area Partnership’s (LEAP) Global Lansing Initiative, which supports foreign businesses in establishing a successful presence in the Lansing area, according to a press release.
