TEXAS TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A Kalamazoo man is in critical condition after he was struck by a car before dawn yesterday on south 9th Street in Texas Township.
Kalamazoo County Deputies say that 43-year-old Jason Cunningham was not using a crosswalk when he was struck at around 6:45 a.m.
The driver remained at the scene, was interviewed and no charges are being sought against him at this time.
The accident remains under investigation. It shut down the roadway for about 30-minutes while the car/pedestrian collision was investigated.
