Seven-year-old’s condition improving after being hit by vehicle

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A seven-year-old child’s condition is improving after they were hit by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon.

The child is now in stable condition at a Kalamazoo hospital.

The crash happened just after 4 p.m. on Tuesday near James Street and Lane Boulevard.

The driver who hit the child has been “extremely cooperative” with Kalamazoo Public Safety authorities.
