KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Detectives with Kalamazoo Public Safety are looking for a person who was spotted by witnesses with a gun after a fight at the Family Dollar on Portage Street late Thursday.
The altercation happened after 8 p.m. The vehicle fled the area after a failed traffic stop, but would be found unoccupied a short time later, according to a press release.
Police found a loaded gun, marijuana and pills inside the minivan. The press release did not claify if the firearm was the same one spotted by witnesses at the dollar store.
Two of the minivan’s occupants were found and detained, but no arrests have been made.
