KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Federal Aviation Administration has put out a video to help Americans identify planes and drones they see flying in the sky, especially on the east coast of the U.S.
The video tells people small airplanes have a flashing red beacon and red and green wing tip lights along with a white strobe light.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff Rick Fuller spoke on WKZO Kalamazoo Mornings with Ken Lanphear this week about the drones after President-elect Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social website that people need to shoot down the drones.
Other law enforcement agencies have said the same thing as Fuller, noting there is no national security threat from the drone sightings.
