STURGIS (WKZO-AM) — Sheriff’s deputies in St. Joseph County say a 33-year-old Sturgis man is jailed after leading a 100 mph pursuit.
After responding to emergency calls of a reckless driver near Sherman Township, they claim his vehicle drove through fields during the roughly 20-minute chase Friday.
It ended when the Cadillac Escalade plunged into a culvert. The driver was later found hiding in a drainage pipe.
