PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A vacant mobile home in Portage has been destroyed by a fire.
Portage Public Safety says they were called to the 5200 block of Dutchess Drive in the Colonial Acres Manufactured Home Community around 8:30 Wednesday night.
Over 75% of the mobile home was on fire when they arrived and got it under control within 30 minutes.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury battling the flames, but no one else was hurt.
The Portage Fire Marshal is working on determining the cause.
