BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire that totaled a van parked in a driveway and damaged an adjacent house in the 300 block of Wentworth Avenue in Battle Creek.
It happened Thursday afternoon. First-arriving crews saw flames shooting from the vehicle toward the residence.
Two dogs and a 17-year-old girl inside were able to get out safely.
