PORTAGE (WKZO-AM) — Portage Public Safety is looking for the driver who lost control of their vehicle Friday evening on icy Woodlawn Drive in Portage last night and struck a home at 2626 Stanley Avenue, hitting with enough impact to set off the home’s alarm system.
Police would like to talk with that driver but they didn’t stick around.
The crash damaged the front of the home and probably did some damage to what was described by witnesses as a dark SUV.
No one was in the home at the time.
Portage Pubic Safety got the alarm at 8:34 p.m.
