AUDIO: Brandi Janes introduced as new director of Kalamazoo County Emergency Management Office

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The city of Kalamazoo will be looking for a new Emergency Management Director.

That’s because their current director has been hired to fill the vacancy at the top of Kalamazoo County’s Emergency Management Office.

Brandi Janes was introduced to the Kalamazoo County board last night and took the job with the city of Kalamazoo two and a half years ago, coming from Louisiana.

She was in Louisiana when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.

Janes will replace Mike Corfman, who retired a few months ago.
