DETROIT (WKZO-AM) — There is a greater incentive for tipsters who have information about the person who killed Collin Rose, a Wayne State University police officer with southwest Michigan ties.
The reward for information that leads to the capture of the person who shot and killed Rose has now reached $105,000. The Richland native was shot and killed during an investigation into car burglaries near the Detroit campus in November.
The reward fund rose to its current level thanks to contributions from Detroit police, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, and the most-recent contribution of $22,500 came from the Crime Stoppers program.
