DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It’s more expensive to fill the gas tank in Michigan compared to last Monday.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price is up by nine-cents a gallon to $3.13, but the price is still 21-cents less than last month and 18-cents less than last year.
A 15-gallon tank costs $46 on average in the state.
Michigan’s most expensive gas is in Jackson at $3.19, while Traverse City has the most affordable gas at exactly $3 a gallon.
In southwest Michigan, gas is $3.15 in Kalamazoo County, $3.16 in Van Buren County, $3.11 in Calhoun County, $3.14 in Allegan County, $3.12 in St. Joseph County, and $3.25 in Barry County.
