KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – God’s Kitchen of Michigan will hold three free Thanksgiving dinners this year.
The first two will be held Wednesday, November 20 in Battle Creek at First United Methodist Church at 111 East Michigan and at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at 635 West Van Buren Street from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 21, God’s Kitchen of Michigan will hold the third Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Kalamazoo at the Wesley Foundation at 2350 Ring Road North from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Pastor William Stein says Thanksgiving is “about more than a meal; it’s about coming together as a community.” He adds they are grateful to support their generous sponsors and dedicated volunteers who help make the event possible.
The Free Community Thanksgiving Dinners are sponsored by the Mike and Sharon Seelye Family Foundation, Baptism USA Ministries, the Michigan Nonprofit Relief Fund, First United Methodist Church, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Broncos Kitchen Foundation, Michigan Youth Challenge Academy, and God’s Kitchen of Michigan.
Everyone is welcome at these dinners, regardless of background or circumstances.
