Michigan voter turnout at record-breaking 78.1%

LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says the voter turnout record has been broken.

Benson says over 5.5 million people cast their ballot, which was 78.1% of all registered voters.

It was the highest percentage since the Bureau of Elections began keeping information on that in 1948.
