KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Metro’s new pilot program called Metro Link has reached its six-month anniversary.
Director Sean McBride says 16-thousand rides have been provided by the program so far and it will be expanding to more zones.
The app-based service allows people to get a ride within three zones in communities outside the city of Kalamazoo that don’t have many bus stops.
A $2 million state grant is helping to expand the Metro Link service.
