BRADLEY (WKZO AM/FM) — The Gun Lake Tribe, the same people who own and operate the Gun Lake Casino in Wayland are diversifying and while their new enterprises may not bring in the same kind of revenue stream, their new operation will provide jobs.
They are opening open a gas station and a grocery store near the south entrance to the Casino in Allegan County Tuesday at noon.
It’s the tribe’s first-ever non-gaming business, and could the first of many. Like any business operation these days, it’s always good to diversify.
The gas station and market will employ 22, be open 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, just like the casino and also house a Subway restaurant.
