PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance held a campaign rally in Portage Friday afternoon.
He says Democratic Presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris has already had four years as VP to make changes but she hasn’t.
Vance spoke for about a half hour at RAI Jets at the Kalamazoo Battle Creek International Airport.
He said a vote for the Democratic nominee is one for more of the same as now with higher costs, an open southern U.S. border, more fentanyl coming in, and high violent crime.
Vance says his running mate, former President Donald Trump, will provide the leadership the country deserves. He encouraged people to vote and let their voice be heard, noting Michigan is one of the states that has early in-person voting through 5 p.m. on Sunday.
